The final round before the teams came to make it to the BGIS 2024 semifinals have now commenced, with Prime Esports finding a huge success against some of the top teams. The first day of Round 4 was mostly dominated by new teams.
Overview
Prime Esports manages to secure two chicken dinners across all matches, with the first one being in the opening match. The team gained an early lead, with GodLike and Team Forever tailing close behind. The following match went on to TMG gaming, although, the win didn’t do much for them as the entire game saw everyone on equal footing.
By this time, all teams were in a try-hard mode to be in the top 4 to qualify for the semifinals. Zero Recoil who were struggling to find space managed a win with 14 points, while 8bit also managed to take down Prime Esports to secure the fourth match, however, Prime Esports still came out on top in terms of final points.
The fifth match was secured by Prime Esports with another huge win with 21 points, solidifying their spot in the semifinals. LimraEsports who also struggled all the matches finally found success in the closing match enabling them to survive and see the semifinals.
Sadly, Team Forever and Medal Esports were left a few points away from qualifying and will have to wait and hope they get a spot in the wild card matches for another chance. Godlike Esports also struggled to keep up this time, which can potentially end their run at BGIS 2024.
