"Yeah, it's a couple of years, but we've had some pretty active involvement in some stuff coming up. It's really interesting," said Peter. Safran claimed that he and Gunn sit with people who run the studios. James' co-CEO added that he and Gunn discuss stories and characters everyone gets invested in.
"James and I sit with literally the guys that run the studios underneath JB, whether it's NetherRealm or whether it's Rocksteady, sit with them and talk about characters and stories that we're interested in and that they're interested in," said Safran while speaking about the process of executing their plans.
'We talk about designs, story, and characters' - Peter Safran
Peter added that the first stage of the process is to see designs and talk about them. He claimed that the discussions take place on the story and potential edits that could be made. He spoke about the importance to discuss on the characters and coming up with ideas to make the overall product better.
"We see designs for the projects in their very earliest stages. We talk about those. We talk about when they're talking about what the story might be, we say, 'Well, maybe you want to go this way because we're planning on maybe doing something with this character and so forth and so on,' and help to deal with that," Safran added.
As of now, it is not sure how the DC Games shape up without the DC integration. TheGamer claimed that a hiring process is going on for a Game Director. David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros, confirmed that there would be a process of doubling down to four proven franchises which might include Batman.
