Life is Strange Double Exposure is also set to release in October among other popular titles, but features a long advanced access period to compete with other games.

Life is Strange Double Exposure

Life is Strange is among one of the longest-running video game franchises and is quite popular for its story telling. The original game released back in 2015 introducing the main protagonist Max, who has a supernatural power to rewind time. Over the years, the game spawned many sequels, introducing a new protagonist with different abilities.

Double Exposure, however, is going back to the roots and bringing back Max following the events in the first game. This time, Max is travelling to a different timeline to save her friend and solve the mystery of who’s behind all this.

The game will likely allow players to jump back and forth across the two timelines in order to gather clues. Much like other games, this one will also require a puzzle solving and decision-making that will ultimately decide the ending players get. This allows players to try different routes and get creative.

Life is Strange, Double Exposure is set to release on October 29, a month that is already jam packed with some of the most anticipated games of this year. The game will initially release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S but will eventually see it's way to the Nintendo Switch.

While there is a lot of competition, the game has one thing going on as it is moderately priced and the pre-order will give players access to chapter 1 and 2 two weeks ahead of the full release, which makes it very compelling. The advanced access is available across all editions.
