After Epic Games took a huge win against Apple in Europe regarding their monopoly on iOS, many have been wondering about Fortnite Mobile. Will the game also return to the platform, if yes, how long it will take?

Luck for the fans, popular Fortnite leakers and news account on X have claimed that Fortnite Mobile is not under testing for iOS devices and will likely return very soon. Players who are unable to keep a PC for various reasons can enjoy the game on their mobile devices.

Not everyone will get to play

Amidst the good news for mobile games and Fortnite Fabs, there is just one small issue. The game is only available for players in the European region as a result of the EU ruling. Other regions might get a chance to play the game sometime in Future after both companies come to an agreement or other market watchdogs also give a similar ruling.

Fortnite Mobile came when the game climbed to its peak with its unique Battle Royale mechanics. It was developed for both Android and iOS devices. However, with Epic Games going against Apple, the game was removed from the App Store for circumventing the payment methods.

The fight then went on for years across many fronts, with both companies not backing down from the lawsuits. After the European Commission’s Ruling went in favour of Epic Games, the company announced they would bring back the game. “We are moving forward as planned to launch the Epic Games Store and bring Fortnite back to iOS in Europe. Onward!” the statement quoted.

Previously, the game featured has been in full functionality of PC and consoles including cross-platform matchmaking allowing everyone to compete together. However, the game has added a lot more during the time it was banned, including no-build and multiple other game modes.

There is currently no official announcement regarding the same from, Epic Games. However, with the new leaks about Fortnite testing, players in the European region might get a chance to play the game once again very soon.
