Haaland to get an official Clash of Clans skin

The Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has now become the first person to receive an in-game skin in Clash of Clans. Haaland has been a fan of the game for a long time. In the announcement post, Haaland revealed that he has been playing the game for over 10 years.

“I think I was around 10 when I discovered Clash. Me and my friends started playing—we’ve had a lot of fun together,” Haaland said in his statement.

Haaland will be joining the game as Barbarian King through a crossover event this month. During the event, players will have limited-time challenges that will let them acquire multiple rewards through the entire month of May. Players will also get a chance to raid the Barbarian King Haaland's base for rewards.

Supercell, the developers for Clash of Clans, were also very thrilled about the revelation. “When we heard Erling Haaland was a fan of our game and that he wanted to partner with us, it was really a dream scenario,” said Stuart McGaw, general manager of Clash of Clans.

Fans of the star striker can also acquire the Barbarian King cosmetic and have their own Barbarian King Haaland in the base and raids. Alongside the skin, players will also see a new football theme for their base and match-ready skins for the rest of the troops as part of the collaboration.

How to Get the Barbarian King Haaland?

As for how to acquire the skin, the event is yet to go live. Some suggests that the Haaland Barbarian skin might come as the new season pass reward, while others say players will be able to purchase the skin from the shop itself.

Few others believe that the character will be available for completing the limited-time challenges. However, the real confirmation on how to get Haaland will be revealed in few hours.
