GodLike Esports wins big at final day of BGMS Season 3 Playoffs

BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Playoffs final day is on and GodLike Esports have finally found their first chicken dinner in the opening match. Not only this was the team’s first match win at the event, but this was also the first time GodLike had appeared this high on the leaderboard.

GodLike contested the final circle against 8Bit, Vasista Esports and Orangutan in the final circle. With the numbers advantage that they maintained while also securing a decent amount of finishers, GodLike was already primed to secure the match.

Match 1 saw teams take it slow and not give other extra points during Powerplay. This translated into only five finishers during the entire Powerplay. As soon as the bonus points were gone, the teams were back to business, with Orangutan taking down Revenant Esports and Team Tamilas.

Overall, the opening game felt fresh with GodLike Esport dominating every team in the lobby, which made everyone wonder if this was a one-time affair or if the team would be keeping the same form moving forward potentially to the finals.

Orangutan makes a big brain move

A great strategy came from an Orangutan that sent one of their members into the circle while the other one stayed outside for a healing battle in case things didn’t go well. This came in the clutch as OG managed to secure the second spot even after the player inside the zone was eliminated.

With a 24-point chicken dinner, GodLike Esports has made a huge leap in leaderboard rankings and is currently sitting in the second spot. The top spot is held by Team XSpark who were the first ones to return to the lobby as fans get worried about their performance once again. XSpark were one of the best teams on Playoffs opening day and the team managed to secure a chicken dinner to close Day 1.
