EA Sports FC Mobile announced Retro Stars with new Icons and Heroes cards

EA brings back Retro Stars for EA Sports FC Mobile and reveals some of the most iconic player cards with high overall stats, but fans are disappointed with the event.

EA Sports has recently announced Retro Stars for EA FC Mobile with new players on cards and design. The event is set to begin on August 29 and will run across the next four weeks. The event will feature some iconic player cards with high overall (OVR) ratings, gems and coins.

Players can enter the Retro Arcade and complete various challenges to level up and earn rewards. To compete, however, a selection from one of the six clubs in required. The options available are Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Ajax.

Here are all the new cards available for FC Mobile -

Jairzinho - 101 OVR RW (Brazil)

Roberto Baggio - 101 OVR CAM (Italy)

Vincent Kompany - 101 OVR CB (Belgium)

Raul Gonzalez - 100 OVR ST (Spain)

Dirk Kuyt - 100 OVR CM - Dirk Kuyt (Netherlands)

Antonio Di Natale - 99 OVR ST (Italy)

Luis Figo - 99 OVR RW (Portugal)

Hristo Stoichkov - 99 OVR LW -(Bulgaria)

Landon Donovan - 99 OVR CAM (USA)

Gianfranco Zola - 98 OVR CAM (Italy)

While Hristo Stoichkov will be available as completion rewards, platters will need to spend Retro Stars Tokens in the Retro Rewards section for premium rewards.

Players disappointed with less variety

While players are happy regarding the addition of new cards, a general disappointment has been seen across various comments citing that the event is a bit disappointing, and they expected a few more cards. The card art is also being criticized for being bland.
