WWE superstar Drew McIntyre appeared in a Doom-inspired gear during his WrestleMania match. Video games and WWE have been long-time associates, helping each other reach the audience. In the past, we have seen The New Day in a Final Fantasy theme, Mike Bailey paying homage to Chrono Trigger.

This time, Drew McIntyre used Doom: The Dark Ages-inspired gear for his match against Damian Priest. The rivalry was building up since last year's WrestleMania when Damian cashed in the Money in the Bank contract against the Scottish wrestler.

Drew lost his newly earned World heavyweight championship. The two fought in a Sin City street fight match, and McIntyre won. But before the match, he wore a scaled cloak with spikes and armour. He mixed the gear with his traditional Scottish dress.

He even brought the Doom Slayer along with him, wearing a shield, helmet and some entrance with video graphics. Doom’s next part will release in May, which will carry forward the storyline. It will be one of the biggest games of the 2025 season.

One of the best things about the game is that its main character remains the same since its release in the early 90s. Doom: The Dark Ages will release on May 13 for PC, Xbox and PS5. Fans can also buy the limited edition for Xbox. Xbox will sell the standard Xbox controller with Doom Slayer's signature scheme for $80. The Dark Ages-themed Xbox Elite series 2 controller will be sold for $200. The Xbox Series X console wrap could also be bought with Doom textures.

For the normal Xbox Game Pass, the game will be available on day one. But if you want even more features, the premium and collectors' editions offer two days of early access. Previously, WWE partnered with Supercell for the Clash of Clans game featuring Cody Rhodes.
