Destiny 2 Onslaught (Source - destinythegame)
Into the Light brought a lot of new things for Destiny 2 players. One of the new things includes the Onslaught where players have to defend equipment against the horde of enemies coming in waves.
There are two modes, the regular one with only 10 waves, and a legend difficulty with 50 waves and stronger enemies. Every 5th wave is a mini-boss fight, while every 10th wave in the Onslaught is a boss fight that gives rewards.
Both the modes allow three players, although, clearing 50 in legend difficulty can be a bit hard even with a team. However, one mad lad has now completed the entire 50-wave run of legend Onslaught alone.
The player named, Xeneris posted an image of the end screen on X (Twitter) and the entire run for the session on YouTube. With this feat, Xeneris has now become the first player to complete the Onslaught solo on legend difficulty.
The build
To sustain themselves in the high-risk activity, players need a proper loadout, and this is what Xeneris did. As seen in the video, the player is using a Devour Hunter that helps keep the health up and the void subclass lets the player go invisible from time to time.
Furthermore, the description also tells about the Orpheus Rig, a powerful exotic armour for Hunters that provides better energy recharge to abilities and an extra shot to the super ability. There is also Lucky Pants exotic in the mix to boost the weapon damage. The entire solo run took over one and a half hours.
The Destiny 2 community has respect for the player for achieving something many players will only dream of. However, we are sure that the dedicated players who have enough spare time will also be able to complete the activity solo.
