Classic 90s Shooter Max Payne 3 rumoured to get remastered soon

One of the favourite shooting games played by the 90s era kids, Max Payne 3, is rumoured to get revived with a remastered edition. The Rockstar game developed Max Payne has always been appreciated for having one of the best storylines and gameplay for a TPS game. 

Max Payne 3 Remaster by Rockstar Games

The original game was released in the early 2000s, while the latest in the franchise was released a decade ago in 2012. The third instalment was released by Rockstar Games, which purchased the brand from Remedy Entertainment. But it was always kept in the shadows of GTA and Red Dead Redemption. Max Payne 3 helped them reach the passionate action game fans. Now, it's been rumoured that Max Payne has been under development by their original maker, Remedy Entertainment, for several years.

Rockstar games are now at their peak after the recently released GTA 6 trailer 2. The blockbuster trailer gave more insights about the open-world game that was in development for more than a decade. Whatever Rockstar touches now will turn into gold, and this is the best time for them to release the Action shooter game. 

Not only Max Payne 3 Remaster, but Rockstar Games is also planning a GTA 4 remaster. If the rumour is real, then it might release after the GTA6 game release, which is May 2026. Neither GTA 4 nor Maypayne 3 remasters are being confirmed by the game developer, and these are just rumours awaiting confirmation.

Remedy Entertainment brought the Max Payne game in 2000 for PC, Xbox and PS2. It was a massive hit as the game is based on a former NYPD officer who turned into a vigilante after his family was brutally murdered. It is more popular among fans for its slow-motion shooting and has become a cult game. 

The second instalment of the franchise was released in 2003, named Fall of Max Payne. It was improved and became a massive hit. The third part was released in 2012, and the gameplay takes happening in Brazil. It was a more modern and brutal style of action game.
