BMPS 2024: Hyderabad Hydras and TWH Esports remain the only team in top 16 from Group 4

Day 1 for Group 4 at the 2024 BMPS League Week 2 concludes with teams giving each other some insane fights. Hyderabad Hydras and TWH Esports, who clinched the first two spots in the group, are the only ones making it into the top 16 among 64 teams. Both teams need to keep up the performance on the final day to qualify.

Kicking off the opening match were Hyderabad Hydras securing a 20-point chicken dinner to start the matches with an advantage. While the team was not able to secure any more wins, they managed to remain in the top three.

The following match saw TWH Esports and K9 Squad step up, with THW taking home a 22-point victory after taking down Hyderabad Hydras in an intense 3v3 finale. K9 managed to secure 13 finishers, but the team was left outnumbered by the endgame and was eliminated in the third spot.

The final match for the day saw Ghuso Esports against Carpe Diem, where Fragger secured an insane 1v3 clutch against Carpe Diem to ensure a 20-point chicken dinner, while Carpe Diem missed a golden opportunity to enter the top 16.

One of the most disappointing performances came from Team Tamils who was considered to be one of the stronger teams entering Group 4. With a huge upset on the first day of BMPS Week 2, they need to make up on the final day, which won’t be easy.
