BLAST R6 Major Manchester (Source - Blast)
Last year, Rainbow Six Siege saw a boost in its popularity among gamers. The Six Invitational also saw record-breaking viewership in the history of R6 of Siege, reaching over half a million for the first time. That spearheaded the game into 2024 with a bang To top it all off, the Year 9 update was also immensely popular.
Now, R6 is starting its competitive circuit once again. In just two weeks, fans will once again be cheering for their favourite pros at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. Teams will fight for the $750,000 prize pool, with the winning team taking over $200k and 350 and Six Invitational Points.
Last year saw w7m take both R6 Major Copenhagen and Atlanta. Following the success in the major, w7m then went to win the Six Invitational 2024. The team consisted of HerdsZ, Kheyze, Jv92, FelipoX, nade, Abreu and igoorctg. The older roster for w7m have since signed with Furia, so all eyes are likely to be set on them.
In total, 24 teams will be competing to secure a spot in the finals. Eight teams will start from Phase one, while 16 teams will be starting from phase two. Out of these 24, only eight will secure a spot in the grand finals race.

Out of the eight teams in Phase 1, one team is yet to be revealed as European LCQ are currently ongoing featuring eight teams. Currently, Wolves Esports will face ENCE while The Forgotten Days will go against G2 esports in the semifinals. Winning teams will face off in the grand finals to secure a spot in the Phase 1 of BLAST R6 Major Manchester.
