The second day of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 2 saw most underdog teams face each other across six matches to secure a spot in the top 7. Out of these 16, a fairly new team, WSB Gaming, who have been making a name for themselves, outshone everyone.
Round 2 Day 2 Overview
MG Esports opened up the second day with 24 24-point chicken dinner, alongside Team Weibo in the second spot, and IBV Gladiators in the third. In the second match, WSB Gaming started spreading their legs by securing a win after getting eliminated from the first match with just one point.
The third match saw 3I Esports securing the chicken dinner with 15 points, however, WSB Gaming took the top spot despite finishing in second place thanks to the final finisher to one of the remaining three teams.
Fans witnessed the same situation in the fourth map, where PCN The Veterans secured the chicken dinner, but WSB again took over their opponents with 26 points. The fifth match also saw WSB failing to secure the win, Xero Reality displayed a dominating performance.
It was only the sixth match where WSB again tasted victory with a massive 29-point chicken dinner and crossed triple digits in all games combined. Those who worked hard to secure a chicken dinner were also rewarded, as these wins in Round 2 helped them to move forward in the tournament.
