India have taken their revenge against Zimbabwe in the 2nd T20I at the Harare Club, Harare. The Men in Blue scored a massive 234 runs against Zimbabwe courtesy of Abhishek Sharma's century in 46 balls. He absolutely smashed the bowling attack along with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rinku Singh. Since the score was way too much, Zimbabwe lost the match by 100 runs.

On winning the toss, skipper Shubman Gill chose to bat first. This decision looked dicey momentarily when Gill threw his wickets away in just two runs. After that, Abhishek Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad (77) played on for a really long time and then came in Rinku Singh. He hammered the bowlers and scored 48 runs off 42 balls. With that, India reached 234 runs. In this process, India lost only two wickets, which is indeed an achievement.Β

When Zimbabwe came to bat, they started losing frequent wickets and could manage to score 134 runs only. Wessly Madhevere and Luke Jongwe were the leading run-scorers of the match for Zimbabwe, and no other player performed well. For India, Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan claimed three wickets, which brought a lot of confidence in the players.

I am satisfied with the win: Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi's performance in both T20Is was extremely impressive, as he took four wickets in the first match and two wickets in the second. He has turned into an asset for the team and loves improving his game. At the post-match presentation, he was quite elated with the win and hopes to win the series.Β

"Happy that we played well today, this is the kind of cricket we usually play. I am satisfied with the win. It wasn't turning much, but the ball was skidding along the deck. That (T20 World Cup win) celebration will go on for a long time, that was a special victory for us. That won't stop," said Ravi Bishnoi at the post-match presentation.
