Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Sneh Rana posted an apology after a massive social media gaffe. The incident happened after RCB lost to UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League on Monday. The match was tied in regulation time and for the first time in WPL, the match went into a super over.
Sneh Rana’s official X handle (FKA Twitter) wrote, “Time to own what comes your way” after the wicket of UP skipper Deepti Sharma. The cricketer put out an apology and wrote, “Apologies. Last evening’s posts during the match were wrongly posted by my manager."

It was the second successive loss for RCB, who are the defending champions. In the previous match, they had lost to the Mumbai Indians by four wickets. Smriti Mandhana and her side had begun their season with wins over the Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals. The next match for RCB is against Gujarat, which is a return fixture at home.
Kim Garth bowled well to concede just eight runs from the super over while bowling to UP Warriorz batters. Many felt with the batting prowess RCB possessed they would overhaul the target with ease. Sophie Ecclestone, though, had other plans, as she conceded just four runs to win the match for her side.
Many fans called out RCB skipper Smriti Mandhana for Elyse Perry to bat despite the Aussie star scoring 90. Speaking after the game ended, Mandhana said, “It was disappointing; we did a lot of things right in the batting innings and bowling innings. These things happen in cricket; we will take it and come back stronger. I have been positive in this tournament.”
Winning skipper Deepti Sharma said, “I am trying to control my nerves, especially in such games. What a game of cricket it was. This was possible because of Sophie's batting. We played positive cricket as a batting unit. Haven't had the time to have a word with her. Just tried to back Sophie and she showed her character today. She is a world-class bowler.”
