Rain is expected to delay the start of the game, as there is a massive downpour expected between 5 and 7 PM. One can expect the toss to be delayed if the rain persists. The weather can be expected to be hot and pretty humid. It will be a huge test for the players, as the conditions could be demanding during the course of the game.

If the downpour does delay the start of play, then we could also see teams change plans for both sides, as the captain winning the toss will want to bowl first. In the last game, MI scored 203 runs and PBKS managed to chase it down with five wickets in hand and an over to spare. Yet again, the team batting second could hold the advantage.

Yograj Singh sends warning to PBKS ahead of IPL 2025 finals

Former India player Yograj Singh has sounded the alarm bells for Punjab Kings regarding Virat Kohli ahead of the IPL 2025 finals. Yograj urged PBKS bowlers to dismiss the former India skipper early if they entertain hopes of winning the title. The former India player also said that he can sense PBKS winning their first IPL title.

“If Punjab doesn't get Virat out, then they are in trouble. If he doesn't get out, then he can chase 250 or 300. I believe Punjab can win. The game is done if Virat doesn't get out in the first 10 overs. My senses say Punjab will win." Said Yograj Singh about Virat Kohli’s influence with the bat.

India’s former pacer also said, “Punjab has a wonderful captain. He is an amazing player. The game will be between Punjab's captain and Virat Kohli. If RCB has Virat, Punjab has Shreyas Iyer. Punjab should win. If Virat can win RCB a game from any position, Shreyas can do it as well.”
