Fans are waiting with eagerness to see Australia take on India in the second Test match starting on Friday. The game is to be played at the Adelaide Oval and it will be a day and night affair which is to be played with the Pink Ball. This is India’s second Pink ball at the same venue and carries bad memories from the last game played in 2020 after getting bowled out for 36.

Australia have announced their playing XI for the second Test match. Scott Boland has been included in the team instead of Josh Hazlewood. 33-year-old Hazlewood suffered a side strain and is currently travelling with the team and doing his rehabilitation. Boland last played for Australia during the 2023 Ashes series in Leeds.

Team India haven’t announced their playing XI yet but Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are set to mark their returns. Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel are set to make their way out of the team for the returning duo. The batting order is a huge topic of debate as far as India is concerned. Another topic of contention is Washington Sundar’s likely spot in the team with R. Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja waiting in the wings.
