India have completely dominated Australia in the ongoing first Test match. Against the toughest rivals in BGT series, the visitors have given a target of 533 runs, which is huge. Thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli's centuries, India went on to post a mammoth total on the board. Jaiswal scored 161 runs while Kohli hit his 30th ton in Test cricket. A year-long wait for Virat's century finally came to an end as the player scored his 81st century in Australia.

It was an unbelievable day in Perth, as Australia came into bat and lost three quick wickets on 12 runs. While a huge target is hovering around their heads, and McSweeney's early dismissal, the management sent Pat Cummins as their nightwatchman to safeguard the game for some time. However, the extra effort went in vain as the captain was dismissed by Siraj on two runs. Then walked in Marnus Labuschagne, one of the most reliable batters for Australia.

He couldn't do much as he was dismissed on three runs by skipper Jasprit Bumrah. Labuschagne was given LBW by the on-field umpire even though he didn't offer the shot. He took the DRS and it showed that the ball was hitting the stumps despite the impact being outside off. Hence, he was given out.

As per cricket rules, if the ball hits the stumps even if the impact is outside off, the batter will be dismissed because the batter didn't offer a shot. However, in a regular LBW, if the impact is outside off and the batter has offered a shot, he will be given not-out. Labuschangne, with a lot of disappointment, had to return to the pavilion and with that, day three came to an end.

India's dominating performance against Australia continues

On day three of the 1st Test match, India started with 172-0, with Rahul and Jaiswal on the crease. As the game proceeded, Rahul went out on 77 runs, and Jaiswal on 161 runs. Both batters did a great job in helping them get stable from the start. After that, Virat Kohli walked in and scored a century, in just 143 balls.

This was his 81st international century and the 30th Test century. After his century, India declared the innings and gave a huge target of 553 runs. Australia have two whole days to chase the target. However, they lost three quick wickets before the day ended. It was Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj who troubled the batters throughout. It will be a thrilling game to watch on the fourth day for the viewers.
