Reason why entry is free for India vs Pakistan game
Women’s cricket is on the rise and we have seen massive crowds come to watch the matches in India. The BCCI has managed to give out free tickets for the Indian games whenever they have played at home. Even some of the matches in the Women’s Premier League have seen entry being deemed free.
The organizers of the Asia Cup 2024 tournament want to replicate the same. Free entry for a game such as India and Pakistan will also ensure that many fans can come to the stadium. This will also improve the attendance of the fans who will also come to watch the other games including hosts Sri Lanka.
The 8 teams are divided into two groups which are A and B. The top two teams from each group will then play the Semi-Finals and the winners of the semi-finals will then play the finals.
