Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians in a very close match that could have gone any way. A rain interruption saw the game reduce to 19 overs, with GT needing 15 to win. This was a very close encounter but they managed to get to the target on the last ball, despite losing a wicket. They won the last-ball thriller by 3 wickets (DLS).
Mumbai Indians did not have the best time with the bat. Will Jacks was the highest run scorer, with his maiden half-century for Mumbai. He got support from Suryakumar Yadav, but nothing much clicked for them. For GT, Shubman Gill was the highest scorer with 43 runs in 46 balls.
With the ball, Sai Kishore was the star for GT, picking two crucial wickets. He dismissed Surya and Hardik Pandya and put the pressure completely on MI. For Mumbai, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, and Ashwani Kumar were all amazing with the ball, taking two wickets each to completely change the game.
