The final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 is set to be played on June 29 in Barbados. The two unbeaten sides of the tournament, India and South Africa will be competing against each other to lift the coveted trophy. The Men in Blue will look to get their hands on the T20 World Cup for the 2nd time as they first won the tournament in its inaugural edition in 2007.

On the other hand, the Proteas have qualified for a T20 World Cup final for the first time in history and will aim to remove the 'chokers' tag by winning the biggest event of the shortest format. It'd be interesting to see if there will be any change in both team's squads as there are some players from both teams who haven't delivered much but are still in the playing 11 due to the winning combination.

Players like Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli and Shivam Dube haven't done anything great for the team in the tournament but the team would not like to take risks in the final game of the match. Also, everyone knows Kohli's record in T20 World Cups and they can't keep a big player like him out of the team. However, there are some possibilities of resting Shivam Dube and getting Yashasvi Jaiswal in the squad.

South Africa's fast bowlers used the short ball effectively and restricted the Indian team to just 133 runs. Coming to bat and despite a difficult start, the Proteas managed to recover and win the match comfortably. Aiden Markram and David Miller played important roles in South Africa's win, scoring half-centuries and sharing a 76-run partnership in 10 overs. Rohit and co. will surely look to avenge their loss and avenging in the final game of the tournament will be the cherry on the cake for them.
