The iconic Wankhede Stadium hosted the final T20I match between India and England in the five-match T20I series. Jos Buttler won the toss for a second game in a row and decided to bowl first. The visiting side made one change as Mark Wood came in for Saqib Mahmood.
Team India made one change to their side as veteran seamer Mohammed Shami came in for Arshdeep Singh. Interestingly, Shivam Dube kept his place in the XI after the controversy that erupted in Pune. The 31-year-old was replaced by Harshit Rana due to the blow Dube suffered to his head while batting.

Suryakumar Yadav and his side began the series with wins in Kolkata and Chennai. England then came back to win the third game in Rajkot by 26 runs to reduce the series margin. The last time these two sides met at this venue, England had eased to an easy win in early 2013.
Massive chance for under-performing stars to find form
Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav have been two of the biggest underperforming stars during the current. Samson was out for just one run during the previous game in Pune, while skipper Suryakumar Yadav fell for a duck. Both batters have been called out for their lack of form during the current series.
Speaking at the toss, Suryakumar Yadav said, “We wanted to bat first; it looks like a good wicket. I am hoping there won't be much dew. It's going to be a full-packed stadium tonight. We want the boys to take that responsibility; that's what we demand and that's what they are doing. You will fail sometimes, especially when you play that high-risk, high-reward game.”
The 34-year-old lamented the loss of three wickets in a single over in Pune after the match on Friday. Yadav had said, “We didn't want to go back after 10/3 and boys know what brand of cricket we wanted to play. Three wickets in one over, it was too much for us.”
