India's safety concerns while travelling to Pakistan to play a series remain on top due to the terrorist attacks that happened in the past. Hence, the government and the Board are disinterested in sending the Men in Blue to play in the upcoming Champions Trophy in Pakistan. Keeping the tournament in mind, former Pakistan player Tanvir Ahmed has urged BCCI to send the team and has promised to provide safety to the players.

"We are lions. We have come to your den and played you," said Tanvir. "If you have the courage, come here and play. We will give you security, we'll give you everything. Come for once. Only Pakistan players can come and play. They went to India and played. That's what you call bravery," added Tanvir.

After the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the Board has stopped sending India to Pakistan to play any series. Instead of that, BCCI has proposed a hybrid model where a neutral venue can be selected. That way, the tournament will happen peacefully. Although the news isn't official yet, the government will not send the team to Pakistan under any circumstance, even if they have to drop out of the tournament. Hence, Pakistan will have to stop acting rigidly and come up with a solution.

Keep your skills and especially your fitness levels high: Gautam Gambhir

New head coach Gautam Gambhir's inspirational words for the young team India after winning the T20I series 3-0 were magical. He praised each and every player and asked them to return for the Bangladesh series in good health and fitness. The speech given by Gambhir felt heartwarming and showed his dedication towards the team.

"Outstanding captaincy and more important as well because I asked for something before the start of the game and you actually delivered it. This is what happens when you keep fighting. You don't give up. Make sure when you come back for the Bangladesh Series, you can take a break. You absolutely deserve it. But more importantly, keep your skills and especially your fitness levels high," Gambhir can be seen saying in a video uploaded by the BCCI.
