West Indies went on to clinch the 3-match ODI series against England by winning the last game which was a decider. It was an outstanding game where Brandon King and Keacy Carty built a brilliant 200-run partnership to take the team past the victory line. Carty played an unbeaten knock of 128 runs in 114 balls, hitting 15 boundaries and two sixes. On the other hand, King stayed from the start and scored 102 runs off 117 balls, including 13 boundaries and one six.

However, during the 25th over, an interesting thing happened which lightened the game's mood. Sam Curran came into bowling and delivered a short, just outside of the ball, when King lost the grip of his bat, and it went straight towards the keeper, Phillip Salt, who was shocked to see it. Due to the presence of a lot of dew, the batter lost control of the bat.

England scored 263 runs in the first innings, thanks to Phil Salt's 74 runs off 108 balls, and Mousley's 57 runs off 70 balls. Matthew Forde claimed three wickets in the game, and for his brilliant performance throughout the series, he was awarded the Player of the Series prize. 

Fortunate I could do it today at a crucial game: Brandon King

On the day of the decider, Brandon King went on to play the most crucial innings of his life. Opening the innings and facing the English pace attack wasn't easy, but he did it gracefully. Hence, he won the Player of the Match award for his magnificent efforts on the field. He scored a brilliant century in the game, helping West Indies win the game in the final encounter. 

"I had a fair number of starts but wasn't able to convert them. Fortunate I could do it today at a crucial game and I'm happy. Once you go through the initial phase, you have to believe in yourself and that it's your time," said Brandon King.
