Some heated scenes were seen during the second and final Test match between South Africa and Pakistan on Sunday. The hosts asked Pakistan to follow-on after bowling out Shan Masood’s team for 194 in their first innings. Babar Azam and Shan Masood batted well to add 206 runs for the first wicket in over 46 overs.
With the visitors batting well in the second essay, South African bowlers were getting increasingly frustrated. That’s when Wiaan Mulder showed his aggressive. The incident in question happened when Mulder was bowling his third over. Babar drove the ball straight to back to Mulder who fielded the ball and threw it right at the batter.
Oh boy. Mulder deliberately throws the ball at Babar Azam. Not much talk about it on social media.

Babar Azam was struck on his leg and Mulder said something to the former Pakistan skipper before apologizing. Both Pakistani players weren’t too pleased as they spoke to the umpire. Aiden Markram was then seen having words with Babar with Kyle Verreynne trying to get involved as well.
Shan Masood's century leads Pakistan’s recovery
South Africa wasted little time in bowling out Pakistan for 194 in their first innings which gave the hosts a lead of 421 runs. Injury to Saim Ayub means that Babar Azam came out to open the batting for his side. The 30-year-old scored 58 runs from 127 balls with 7 hits to the fence.
Mohammad Rizwan was the next best batter with 46 balls with 82 balls with 2 fours and a six. Kagiso Rabada was the best bowler for the hosts with 3/55 from his 15 overs which included the wickets of Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, and Aamer Jamal. Debutant Kwena Maphaka and Keshav Maharaj picked 2 wickets each.
In the second innings the visitors put up a better show as they were scoring runs at over four runs per over. Babar Azam scored 81 runs from 124 balls with ten hits to the fence before he was caught by David Bedingham off Marco Jansen. The best batter for Pakistan was Shan Masood who is not out on 102 having faced 166 balls with 14 hits to the fence. The visitors still trail by 208 runs with eight wickets left.
