The Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are taking on each other in the most thrilling game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025. The game has been a seesaw so far since the first ball of the game. PBKS were bundled out at the score of just 111 runs in just 15.3 overs in the first innings.
Furthermore, a moment came in the second innings during KKR’s run-chase when the debutant PBKS pacer tried to save a boundary, but things took a comic turnaround. The moment came in the eighth over of the KKR innings when Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling to Venkatesh Iyer, and the latter played a sweep shot towards the long leg region.
PBKS’ debutant Xavier Bartlett successfully picked up the ball very clearly before getting into the shape of throwing it back to the pitch but unfortunately, the ball slipped from his hand and went out of the boundary. As he had already initiated the process of throwing the ball back so, four runs were counted as overthrow in addition to the single ran by the batters.
The video of this hilarious and comic incident involving a big and unexpected error made by Xavier Bartlett also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).
