Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has come up with a unique way to advise opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal ahead of the first game. The 46-year-old used the old ‘Choli ke peeche kya hai’ song’s opening hook in a hilarious. The opening hook of the song sounds similar to ‘Cook’.
It is evident that Wasim Jaffer has asked Jaiswal to follow former England skipper Alastair Cook’s example. The former England skipper scored 766 runs during the 2010/11 Ashes tour of Australia, which included three centuries and one fifty. England beat Australia in their own backyard to win the Ashes.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has had a stellar year so far scoring over 1100 runs in the Test format. The left-handed batter scored double centuries against England at the start of the year. Jaiswal will look to end the year on a high and also want to make good contributions with the bat during the tour to help India win the series.

Jaiswal said to BCCI, “When I started playing senior cricket, I spoke to Virat paaji about how he manages himself. He has said that if you want to play all that cricket then you have to be disciplined in your daily routines and process so I have seen him do things day by day.”
The youngster also added, “It motivates me a lot to put in all the work and do something and make a difference in my habits, which is important. It makes me better day by day. I have always believed in consistency in my work."
Cricket fans will be watching with keen interest as Jaiswal will take to the field for the first time in Australia. Opening the batting for India will be KL Rahul who is slated to replace Rohit Sharma. It is reported that Rohit is set to join the touring party on 24th November after delaying his departure due to personal issues.
