KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane scored a crucial half-century against GT in the ongoing 39th game of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). He happened to be the only batter in KKR’s run-chase so far who showed a bit of resilience amidst a fall of wickets at regular intervals.
Meanwhile, Rahane also fell prey to the brilliance of star GT spinner Washington Sundar in the 13th over of the game. The moment came on the third ball of the 13th over when Sundar trapped Rahane into an ‘outside the off stump’ delivery and compelled him to step out of the crease, followed by the ball going into the hands of wicketkeeper Jos Buttler. Eventually, Buttler successfully took off the bails to dismiss the KKR skipper.
The video of Ajinkya Rahane getting trapped by Washington Sundar’s bowling brilliance also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by IPL on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
