Former India skipper Virat Kohli may not be in the greatest form with the bat but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping the team environment funny. The 36-year-old was sitting in the dugout when play was suspended due to floodlight failure. Kohli, as per reports was imitating Suryakumar which left his teammates in splits.
Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, and Arshdeep Singh were seen laughing due to the hilarious antics. This isn’t the first time Kohli has come up with entertaining antics on the field. The 36-year-old disappointed his fans when he was out for just five runs during the second ODI, he was dismissed by Adil Rashid.

Virat Kohli will be under tremendous pressure to perform with the bat during the third ODI in Ahmedabad. India’s former skipper will be a key player for his side during the upcoming Champions Trophy tournament. Kohli got off to a great start as he played an imperious shot off Gus Atkinson. The former India skipper got a fine edge off his bat as Phil Salt held onto the catch to leave the home fans crestfallen.
Kevin Pietersen urges Shubman Gill to work on his technique
Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen while speaking on Star Sports said “I talked about a trigger when you get into big boy's cricket and you face the faster bowlers. You need a set yourself and it's a start that he's now started to take when he's been batting.
“I think that it's improved the way that he's played. What makes it even more intimidating to bowl to, is his ability to just play that pickup shot, that little punch shot of the back foot, because a bowler can't just hover short of a length," Said Pietersen.
The 43-year-old also said, “What he's is get a full attack the top of the stumps or his bouncer has to be very, very good. So, he's improved this game. He'll want to keep improving, he'll wanna stop getting 60 and getting out. He'll wanna get the 100 like Rohit."
