Fans can't have enough of the camaraderie between the two.
Today, in the first game of a double-header, the Kolkata Knight Riders will host the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens. The last time these two sides met in this tournament, KKR decimated RCB in front of a partisan home crowd in Bengaluru.
After that game concluded, the cameras captured a heartwarming moment- that of Virat Kohli gifting one of his bats to Rinku Singh, the young middle-order batter who has become a household name in recent times. The video was heavily viewed and shared on social media.
Rinku asks Kohli for another bat!
Yesterday, as the two teams were training at Eden Gardens, a conversation between Rinku Singh and Virat Kohli was captured by the cameras and the video of that has gone viral. In the video, Rinku can be seen telling Kohli that he accidentally broke the base of the gifted bat while playing spin. Kohli then asked him why he was telling him that to which Rinku replied by saying that that he just wanted to inform him. Kohli then said that he wasn't interested in the information.

Then, as Rinku was knocking balls with a bat belonging to Kohli, the latter said that the bat was useless so that he wouldn't have to gift him another one. Rinku then asked Kohli if he would call for another bat for him. Kohli then teased Rinku for expecting two bats in two games and said that because of him, he had to face plenty of issues. Rinku then promised Kohli that he would not break another bat in what was a funny and serious exchange at the same time.
The clip captures the fun exchange between Rinku Singh and Virat Kohli and so, the video is a hit with fans who are enjoying the playful dynamic between the two cricketers. Despite Kohli's sarcasm, it is expected that he will gift Rinki another of his bats in the hope that he doesn't break that as well.
