Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant to take on team's responsibility
As the Indian batters continued with their disappointing performance in the 3rd Test match, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant will get into the field on day two to build a good partnership. The game is still open and anything can happen by the end of the Test match. However, the Indian batters will have to give their everything in order to win this game.
The responsibility falls back onto Gill and Pant as they have experience playing in such conditions. After them, Sarfaraz Khan will walk in, and that would be the last set of batters. The team can't afford to depend on Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin each time the top order fails. Hence, the middle-order batters will have to take on the responsibility and play well.
