In just a few weeks, the T20 World Cup is set to begin with West Indies hosting the event along with the United States of America. Team India will embark on the hunt for the elusive ICC title as they will be led by Rohit Sharma.

Virat Kohli will be one of the most watched players as the former Indian skipper will look to help India win the title. The 35-year-old is currently with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 tournament.

Just before the last game of the season against Chennai Super Kings, Virat Kohli was seen getting a haircut. The 35-year-old sported a very short hairdo which was seen during his interaction in the RCB dressing room.

Brian Lara speaks on the massive RCB vs CSK match

Former West Indian star Brian Lara who is in India for the IPL 2024 as a commentator was asked his views about the game on Saturday. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will host the Chennai Super Kings in a must-win game to make it to the playoffs.

The 54-year-old while speaking to Star Sports India also said, “Well, it is not just form. I mean RCB has a five-match winning streak right now and no other team has done that this year. They have Virat Kohli who is in form, but the most important thing is that other players are also playing their roles well which is important for the team's success. So I think the form is one thing.”’

Brian Lara also said, “RCB has never won the IPL and they seem to be hungry to win it. This match will help them reach the playoffs. This is a great opportunity, the team's form is good, there is hunger to win and senior players like Du Plessis, Siraj and Virat are also performing well.”

Finally, Brian Lara also added, “Then the younger players are coming in, they will miss one or two, the ones who have left. But I believe RCB's momentum as we have seen till now, it will keep taking them forward in this tournament. I have seen them playing live, against CSK, they will definitely win.”
