Virat Kohli extended a heartfelt gesture towards a young fan who approached him for an autograph in Dubai. The former India skipper and the batting stalwart reached Dubai to be a part of the Indian team in the highly anticipated upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He recently appeared for India in the three-match ODI series against England in India.

Coming back to Kohli’s interaction with the young fan, the heartfelt moment happened when the batting superstar was going outside the stadium. The fans waiting for him outside the stadium gate, where Kohli stopped and acknowledged them.

In the same line of events, the 36-year-old cricketing great gave his autograph to a young kid on his bat. The video of this sweet gesture from Kohli for one of his young fans is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter). The kid also said that he’ll frame the Virat Kohli-signed bat as a special memory for him.

After a string of low scores, Kohli regained his batting form in the third and last ODI of the three-match home ODI series against England. He scored 52 runs and played a crucial role in India’s massive win over the tourists to seal the series with a clean sweep margin of 3-0.

Now, Kohli will be in action for Team India in their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign opener against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 20. Following this clash against Bangladesh, the Men in Blue will face the arch-rivals and the defending champions Pakistan in the high-octane clash on February 23, at the DICS in Dubai.

India will be eyeing ending their 12-year-long wait for the title in the Champions Trophy since they won it last under the captaincy of former skipper MS Dhoni in 2013, beating England in the Final. Later, they lost to the arch-rivals Pakistan in the Final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and ended up as the runners-up in the tournament.
