There's a new brotherhood in town for all the cricket lovers. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor Gautam Gambhir and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)'s Virat Kohli were seen conversing during the practice session of the epic clash.

This is an unusual sight to watch. However, the decade-old rivalry between the stalwarts has finally ended, as seen during their last encounter in Bengaluru. This change of heart between players has made the fans happy and sad at the same time, as they miss the heated on-game arguments.

Apart from this, Virat is also friends with the Afghanistan all-rounder, Naveen-ul-Haq, with whom he had a heated argument last year. With each passing day, Virat seems to befriend all of his rivals, which gives his fans mixed emotions.

RCB's below-average performance in IPL 2024

This season has been awful for RCB, as they have won just one game out of seven matches. The team's batting performance has been good, but the bowling performance couldn't be worse than this. The entire team is struggling to find the right momentum for the season and has lost six games.

Moreover, RCB's home ground is no longer their fortress, as they have lost quite a lot of games there. This is one of those seasons that the team and the fans will never want to remember for a long period. If they don't start winning matches from here on, they might end up in the last position and will be the first team to get knocked out of the tournament. Hence, it will be interesting to see their performance in the upcoming games.
