India masters have made it to the finals of the International masters league by beating Australia in the first semi-finals. The star with the bat for India was Yuvraj Singh who turned back the clock to hit seven sixes on his way to 59 runs. His knock came off just 30 balls as the hosts posted a mammoth 220 on the board and won the game by 94 runs. The second semi=finals on Friday will, see West Indies take on Sri Lanka in Raipur.ย
Shane Watson won the toss and chose to bowl first and the move seemed to have been vindicated. India lost Ambati Rayudu and Pawan Negi early, this is when Yuvraj joined skipper Sachin Tendulkar in the middle. The pair added 47 runs for the third wicket in 29 balls before Tendulkar was out after scoring 42 runs from just 30 balls.ย
Yuvraj though wasnโt fazed as he went after the Australian spinners and smashed them to all parts of the ground. The left-handed batter gave glimpses of his old self with the bat. Knock on Thursday also reminded fans of the amazing innings Yuvraj played in the 2007 T20 World Cup semi-finals against the same team in Durban.ย
