Trinbago Knight Riders' legendary batter Kieron Pollard unleashes great power in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024, hitting four consecutive sixes in an over against Saint Lucia Kings. He smashed a 19-ball half-century taking his team past the victory line. TKR won the game with four wickets to spare and are now in third place with two wins in three games.

Shaqkere Parris also played a beautiful inning of 57 runs off 33 balls, giving the much-needed start to the team. TKR were chasing 189 runs when Pollard decided to take charge and hit four sixes off Matthew Forde and finished the game in the 19th over. Forde bowled well throughout the match, but his one-over changed the entire momentum and snatched the game away from them.

Watch Pollard's 4 consecutive sixes:

Kings are now in fifth place on the points table with just two wins in four matches. However, they did bat pretty decently in the first innings and put up a good total on the board with the help of Roston Chase and Rajapaksa. Roston scored an unbeaten half-century, including two boundaries and three sixes. For the TKR, Sunil Narine and Waqar Salamkheil took two wickets each.

Was a very good game of cricket from both sides: Kieron Pollard

One of the most experienced players in the side, Kieron Pollard, had a great time on the field, scoring a brilliant half-century in just 19 balls. He aged like fine wine and now is carrying his forward. While talking about the performance, he praised the opponents for putting up a good total and also expressed his dissatisfaction with his team's fielding performance.

"Was a very good game of cricket from both sides, they did well to get 180, we probably gave away 20 runs too many. My main thing is fielding, it’s unacceptable for the young guys and the senior guys as well. You can be outskilled with bat and ball but fielding is something we should really focus on. As times go along, we’ll try to get better," said Kieron Pollard.
