The youngest player ever in the history of IPL, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, finally got a chance to make his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing IPL 2025. The talented teenager came to open the innings for his side against LSG in the 36th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025.
Meanwhile, the young Southpaw left everyone amazed with a sensational and dream start to his IPL career; the moment came when he faced star LSG pacer Shardul Thakur on the first ball of his IPL debut, and the 14-year-old smashed a stunning flat-batted six over the extra cover boundary on the first ball of his IPL career.
The video of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s spectacular six off Shardul Thakur also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by IPL on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

Vaibhav-Jaiswal duo gets off to a blistering start against LSG
Speaking of the current action of the game, the young RR openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have provided a blistering start to RR, scoring 55 runs for no loss in just 5 overs while chasing the target of 181 runs. Jaiswal has scored 34 runs off just 19 balls, with two fours and three sixes, alongside Suryavanshi’s 21 runs off just 12 balls, with one four and two sixes.
Earlier in the first innings, LSG posted 180 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The veteran opener Aiden Markram played a crucial knock of 66 runs off 45 balls, with five fours and three sixes, followed by Ayush Badoni’s 50 runs off 34 balls, with five fours and a six.
Later, around the end of the innings, Abdul Samad smashed the much-needed 30 runs off just 10 balls, with four sixes in the last over bowled by the veteran RR pacer Sandeep Sharma.
Wanindu Hasaranga scalped 2 wickets for RR in the first innings, alongside a wicket each picked by Jofra Archer, Sandeep Sharma, and Tushar Deshpande.
