Defending champions Islamabad United seem to have a powerful start to the Pakistan Super League 2025 edition, as they are at the top of the points table with four out of four wins and remain the only unbeaten team. After that, Karachi Kings are second, while Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi are in the third and fourth spots. Surprisingly, PSL 2024 runners-up Multan Sultans are at the bottom of the points table.

While these Pakistan Super League matches are coming thick and fast, social media seems to be filled up with viral videos from this edition of the tournament. Speaking about the same subject, star pacer Ubaid Shah was seen slapping wicket-keeper batter Usman Khan in the 12th game of the PSL 2025 game between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan.

Just after the wicket of Lahore Qalandars wicket-keeper batter Sam Billings, the MUL star seamer seemed excited and missed Khan's high-five only to slap him mistakenly while celebrating the wicket. Notably, star pacer Ubaid Khan sprinted in the wild celebration, but what it looked like was more of a WWE move than a wicket-taking celebration in the PSL.

What happened after this incident?

Thereafter, no one was seriously hurt in the game, and Usman Khan also got up with a grin after a few seconds of surprise. The players sitting in the dugout could not stop laughing at all, and Udaid looked both shocked and apologetic when he checked on Usman Khan after mistakenly slapping him.

Coming to the game dynamics, Multan Sultans posted 228/5 on their home turf after opting to bat first in the game. However, LAH managed to get 195/9 and lost the game by 33 runs.

"The conditions were tough. The bowlers tried different things but the ball was coming on nicely. Our plan was to try Mitchell, as he will have to bowl in the coming games and give as much opportunity to everyone as possible. Rishad is bowling well; he's picking up wickets. Unfortunately, the pitch was not helpful today and as the tournament goes on, he will be effective. The tournament has just started and there is a long way to go," LAH skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi said after the loss.
