In a recent piece of news for cricket fans, the two-time Champions Australia have arrived in Lahore for the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and UAE. The Aussie team will be playing without regular skipper Pat Cummins as he was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.
Former Australia skipper and the modern-day batting great Steve Smith will be leading the 2006 and 2009 Champions Trophy winners in the upcoming ninth edition of the tournament.
Australia will play their all matches in Pakistan in two major cities, Lahore and Rawalpindi at the Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, respectively.
In the same vein, the Aussie camp landed at the Allam Iqbal International Airport in Pakistani Punjab’s heart city, Lahore.
