Ahead of the upcoming 2nd Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy 2024, Team India have arrived in Adelaide. The Pink ball game will start on December 6. It was an enjoyable day for the players as they traveled and shopped for hats at the airport. Moreover, it will be a day/night Test match which has always been an area of struggle for the Indian team.

India's performance was brilliant in the first game under Jasprit Bumrah as he led India to a huge win by 295 runs. The Australian batting attack had no idea about the bowling attack, which is where they lost the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and all the other players were just outstanding during the entire game.

Now, Rohit Sharma is back with the team which is a huge relief. However, his playing position is still in jeopardy. KL Rahul replaced him in the 1st Test match where he scored 26 and 77 runs and looked all set throughout the innings. This will be chaotic for the Indian management to do the necessary changes in the game.

Number six for Rohit wouldn’t be in the best interest of the team: Harbhajan Singh

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh spoke about Rohit Sharma's batting position ahead of 2nd Test match. The captain was out of the 1st Test and now, will either open with Jaiswal or will bat at No. 3. As per Harbhajan, going down the order wouldn't benefit the player at all.

"I don’t see Rohit coming in at number five or six. Either Rohit will open with Yashasvi Jaiswal, with KL Rahul coming in at number three, or he will bat no later than number three. Number six for Rohit wouldn’t be in the best interest of the team. Your top four in the batting order should be the four pillars, and someone like Rohit at the top would only add greater fillip," Harbhajan told PTI.
