Former Indian Cricket star Suresh Raina has been very active on the cricket field after his retirement. He has been playing in leagues across the world and is currently playing in the National Cricket League in the USA.

Playing for the New York Lions in their clash against the Los Angeles Waves, the left-handed batter scored an unbeaten 53 in just 28 balls to help his team to a massive total. The NYL got to a total of 126/2 in their allotted 10 overs, thanks to Raina's blistering knock.

In his innings, which comprised six boundaries and three sixes, Raina was in complete attacking mode. His slog hits over the deep mid-wicket region and a six straight over the bowler's head were some shots to marvel at.

Here are the highlights of Suresh Rainai's knock

Apart from the star Indian, Sri Lanka's Upul Tharanga also played a great knock in the game. He scored 40 runs in 23 balls for the New York Lions Cricket Club. For the LAW, Tymal Mills and Pankaj Kampli were the only wicket-takers with one each.

The Los Angeles Waves did not have the best chase as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shaurya Gaur with his three wickets and Tabraiz Shamsi with his two wickets were on fire as they dismissed them for a score of 107 runs. Apart from them, Oshane Thomas and Dominic Drakes also picked a wicket each.

With this win, NYL became the second team to register a win in the tournament. Texas Gladiators registered the first win over the Dallas Lonestars in the opening game of the tournament.
