Pakistan spinners have dismantled the England team's batting in the 2nd Test match at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. Just like how Jack Leach finished Pakistan's batting attack, the same happened to England when Sajid Khan and Noman Ali took six wickets. The second day was quite eventful as England lost six wickets straight on just 239 runs and are trailing by 127 runs.

Sajid claimed four wickets while Ali took two wickets and sent more than half of the England team back to the pavilion. After a dominating performance in the 1st Test match, England's collapse wasn't expected but credit goes to Pakistan bowlers who held their calm and delivered the ball in the correct line and length.

Pakistan will be happy with the way the bowlers bowled today. Even though the spacers didn't get any wickets, they kept the pressure going from the other end and didn't allow the batters to settle down. Dismissing Joe Root, Harry Brook and Ben Stokes was the turning point of the game. However, Jamie Smith is still on the crease and scored a scintillating century on his debut. He has the potential to take the game forward for England.

Ben Duckett's dominating century helps England score 239 by day's end

England's opener Ben Duckett scored a blistering century against Pakistan on day two of the first Test match. He scored 114 runs in 129 balls including 16 boundaries. The century was quite quick which built the pressure on Pakistan. However, Sajid Khan was successful in sending Duckett back to the dugout.

After his wicket, England collapsed with a low score and struggled to complete the trail. If England loses this game, their chance of qualifying for the WTC finals will be in jeopardy. Hence, they wouldn't take any risk and try to play in a sensible game. Three more days are left for the game to end and a result is expected.
