Virat Kohli's form is in question by several cricket experts, considering his performance in the recent series. However, the star batter is the heart and brain of the Indian team when it comes to Australia. Kohli loves playing against the Aussies because of their high level of competitiveness. He has been phenomenal for a decade now in front of the Aussies and is expected to do the same in the upcoming BGT 2024.
During an interview with RevSportz, former India player Sourav Ganguly claimed that he has full faith in Kohli and believes he will have a good series in Australia. He reminded the viewers that Kohli scored four hundred in 2014, which was the highlight of the series even though India was defeated.
"Absolutely, he is a champion batter. And he has had success in Australia in the past. He scored four hundred in 2014, and scored a hundred in 2018 as well. He will want to make this series count, and he will also know this could be the last time he is touring Australia to play Test cricket. So, in every sense, this is a massive series for Kohli," said Sourav Ganguly as quoted by Revzsports.

I don’t want to read too much into the New Zealand series: Sourav Ganguly
The former player was quite open about the disastrous New Zealand series where India were humiliated with their terrible performance. Ganguly said that he wasn't much concerned about the series as the pitches were good. However, Australia will have an atmosphere that will help India dominate in foreign lands. All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma as well since he isn't in great form.
"I don’t want to read too much into the New Zealand series. The pitches did not allow good batting. In Australia, he will enjoy the conditions. There will be good pitches. I am backing Virat to deliver in Australia in this series," he added.
