The left-handed batter also hit five sixes as Karnali Yaks scored 149/5 from 20 overs during the game against Kathmandu Gurkhas. Despite his efforts, Kathmandu won the game by 3 wickets with three balls to spare.

Namibian star Gerhard Erasmus picked 2/29 from 4 overs. Karan KC, Nathan Sowter and Dipesh Kandel picked a wicket each. Karnali Yaks ended with 149 on the board. With his loss, Karnali has lost their second game of the season and are bottom of the table while Kathmandu is third.
Sumit Maharjan and Gerhard Erasmus lead Kathmandu to a close win
Needing 150 to win, Shankar Rana was out for 6 when he was run out by William Bosisto. Nandan Yadav then got the wicket of Stephen Eskinazi for 3 as Kathmandu slid to 12/2 in the 4th over. Dutch star batter Michael Evitt and Bhim Shirki then added 29 runs for the third wicket before he was out by Zeeshan Maqsood.
Michael Evitt holed out to Nandan Yadav when he tried to hit Bipin Sharma for a six. Gerhard Erasmus and Sumit Maharjan added 57 runs for the 5th wicket in 8.4 overs. Both batters rotated the strike well and hit boundaries at regular intervals.
That stand was broken when Gulshan Jha got the wicket of Erasmus for 38 runs from 28 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Karan KC scored 28 runs from 10 balls to swing the game in favour of Kathmandu with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Sumit Maharjan was not out on 40 from 37 balls with one six and three fours.
