Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam continued his poor form with the bat during the 2nd Test vs Bangladesh. The game began on the second day after the first day was totally washed out due to rain. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first as the pitch offered assistance to the seamers.

Bowling the 54th over, Shakib Al Hasan bowled a perfect arm ball to Babar Azam. The former Pakistan skipper played back and lost the line of the ball. Bangladeshi players went up in huge appeal as the umpire raised his finger to give the batter out.

Babar Azam was out after scoring 31 runs from 77 balls. This is his latest failure in the series. The 29-year-old had scored a duck and 22 in the first game which saw Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 10 wickets.

The rest of the Pakistani batting unit failed to capitalize on the starts they got. Mohammad Rizwan was out for 29. Agha Salman played a lone hand as he hit 54 before he was the ninth wicket to fall.

The best bowler for Bangladesh was Mehidy Hasan Miraz who picked 5/61 from his 22.1 overs. Pace bowler Tasking Ahmed picked wickets while Nahid Rana and Shakib AL Hasan picked a wicket each.

In reply Bangladesh were 10 for no loss after playing two overs. Shadman Islam was batting on 6 while Zakir Hasan is yet to open his account. If Bangladesh draw or win the game they will also win their maiden series in Pakistan.
