Pakistan pace bowler Shaheen Afridi ahs welcome the birth of his first child during the ongoing Test match versus Bangladesh. The left-arm pacer picked his first wicket of the Test when he had Hasan Mahmud caught by Mohammad Rizwan. 

As soon as he picked the wicket Shaheen Shah Afridi turned towards the pavilion end pulled out the cradle celebration. The Pakistani pacer was overwhelmed with joy and a huge smile on his face. 

Bangladesh took a huge lead thanks to Mushfiqur Rahim who scored 191. With just one day remaining the game seems to be heading for a draw until and unless the visitors put up a spirited performance with the ball on the final day. 

Bangladesh ease past Pakistan to take significant lead 

Pakistan ended the 4th day of the first Test at 23/1 having lost Saim Ayub early for 1 and still trailing Bangladesh by 94 runs. When the stumps were drawn Pakistan batters Shan Masood was batting on 9 along with Abdullah Shafique who was on 12. 

Bangladesh were bowled out for 565 thanks to some useful contributions from the middle and lower middle order. The star with the bat for the visiting side was Mushfiqur Rahim who scored 191 runs from 341 balls with 22 fours and one six. 

Just when it seemed that Rahim will score his 4th Test double ton, the veteran was dismissed by Mohammed Ali. It was a sad end to the innings as Mohammad Rizwan took an easy catch. Mushfiqur Rahim was given a standing ovation as he made his way back to the hut. 

Wicketkeeper Litton Das played well to score 56 runs from 78 balls with 8 fours and a six. Mehidy Hasan Miraz then scored a patient 77 run knock off 179 balls with 6 fours. Naseem Shah was the best bowler for Pakistan with 3 wickets, while Mohammad Ali, Shaheen Afridi, and Khurram Shahzad picked 2 wickets each. Saim Ayub was the other wicket taker with one scalp when he dismissed Shakib Al Hasan for 15.
