In the ongoing The Hundred Men's Competition 2024, the star England all-rounder claimed a hattrick at the Lord's Stadium, London, against the London Spirit. He dismissed Matt Critchley, Liam Dawson, and Andre Russell. The Oval Invincibles won by 32 runs thanks to Curran's magnificent bowling. 

Curran's spell was brilliant as he claimed a 5-wicket haul and helped his team win by such a huge margin. It was purely his day, as he also scored 51 runs while batting in the first innings.

He was given the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance. He hit six sixes in the first innings and claimed five wickets in the 2nd innings. It's indeed an unforgettable day for the star all-rounder. Now, the Invincibles are at the top of the points table with three wins in four matches.

Sam Curran was happy with the team's performance as they clinched victory over the London Spirit. Curran's five-wicket haul and 51 runs were the main reason behind their win. However, he credited the entire team and said that they complimented each other, so they won the game.

"Have had a few battles with Russell over the years. Thankfully he edged it. But most importantly we got the win. The wicket was fractionally slow. We all complemented each other really well. When Hetmyer and Russell were there, and Dan was playing really well. It's never over with those kinds of players," said Sam Curran at the post-match presentation.
