Gujarat Titans (GT) batters made a brisk start to their innings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game on Wednesday. Sai Sudharsan continued his amazing form with the bat in the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. At the end of the first time out, the visitors were placed at 75 runs for the loss of one wicket, still needing 95 runs to win from 11 overs.

The incident in question occurred in the fourth ball of the fourth over bowled by Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood. Sai Sudharsan was batting five runs as he walked outside the off stump and employed the scoop shot for a six. In the very next ball. It was Royal Challengers Bengaluru who batted first after Shubman Gill won the toss. The hosts scored 169 runs for the loss of eight wickets from their 20 overs. In the fourth over of the game saw 11 runs being scored as GT started to impose themselves on the RCB bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar got the first wicket when he had Shubman Gill caught by Livingstone for 14 runs.
Jos Buttler came to the wicket and soon began playing the supporting role to Sudharsan who seemed to have his eye in. The pair went past the 50-run stand as the home team bowlers couldn’t control the carnage. Sudharsan was out for 49 when he was caught by Jitesh Sharma off Hazlewood in the 13th over of the innings.
