The India Masters advanced to the finals of the International Masters League (IML) T20 after defeating the Australia Masters by 94 runs. It was one of the best displays by the Indian batters as Yuvraj Singh wreaked havoc on the bowlers throughout the innings. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first, which seemed like a wise decision as the legendary bowlers removed Ambati Rayadu and Pawan Negi quite early in the game.
However, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh made a brilliant partnership of 47 runs and gave hope to the Indian side. Later, Tendulkar departed on 42 runs and wasn't happy with his wicket. Australia's Ben Hilfenhaus was the man behind the dismissal. The batter went on to play the sweep shot, but Shane Watson, with his safe hands, made the catch. Tendulkar looked disappointed and frustrated while departing to the pavilion.

Yuvraj scored a prolific half-century, bashing the bowlers. He scored seven sixes in his innings, making the Australian bowling attack look weaker than ever. The middle-order batters deserve some credit as well since they helped India put a huge total of 220 runs on the board.

Australia Masters lost by 94 runs
The Australia Masters didn't look like the team was filled with legendary players of their time. Their bowling wasn't great, and their batting was pathetic. The batters failed to chase the target of 221 runs and lost the game by 94 runs. The loss even cost them a way to the finals, and they were knocked out of the tournament.
India's Shahbaz Nadeem was the star bowler for India, claiming four wickets in four overs. The bowler conceded just 15 runs, helping the Indian team get past the victory line. For a brilliant knock, he was awarded the Player of the Match trophy.
