The star batter said, "They tease me about forgetting - I forget about my wallet, I forget about my password which is absolutely not true, that happened like a couple of decades back." Well, Hardik Pandya, who was also present on the stage with them, went on to say, "We make sure he doesn't forget something around his seat while we are leaving."

The cricket world is aware of the things Rohit has forgotten, including the players' names during the toss. He is a brilliant player, and an astounding human being who keeps the environment light during tough times. Rohit will be captaining the Indian side in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 along with Shubman Gill as his deputy.

Will be absolutely hungry: Gautam Gambhir

India's head coach, Gautam Gambhir, was asked about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's presence in the dressing room at the BCCI awards ceremony. The former player praised the seniors and also mentioned that they are very valuable in the dressing room, at least among the youngsters who learn a lot from them every day.

"For me, both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli bring so much value to the dressing room and add so much value to Indian cricket as well. I'm sure both those guys, along with the rest of the team, will be absolutely hungry," said Gautam Gambhir during the event.
